Limestone, slate; Upper Triassic greenschist-facies metamorphic rocks; western Idaho, Blue Mountains island-arc complex;

Upper Triassic shale overlying reefal limestone and dolomite in west-central Idaho.
StateIdaho
NameLimestone, slate; Upper Triassic greenschist-facies metamorphic rocks; western Idaho, Blue Mountains island-arc complex;
Geologic ageLate Triassic
Original map labelTRuw; Jw
CommentsLund and others (1993) suggest that Martin Bridge and Lucile series lithologies are interfingered throughout the Slate Creek-John Day Creek map area, and should therefore be combined into one unit, the Martin Bridge Formation. Metamorphic grade changes from eastern lower amphibolite-facies to western greenschist-facies.
