In East Texas and Gulf Coast to Rio Grande- Quartz sand, glaconitic sand, and clay interbeds. grayish green to grayish olive green, thinbedded, locally crossbedded to lenticular. Clay interbeds, lt. brown to mod. lt. gray, silty, moscovitic, thinbedded; weathers mod. to dk. reddish brown; local ironstone concretions; marine megafossils in southern part of Tyler Sheet. 35+-ft thick, range 0-70 ft. |
