CommentsPresidio and Brewster Cos., SW TX. Bandera Mesa member (upper member) basalt flow that underlies 32 m.y-old Mitchell Mesa Rhyolite. Bandera Mesa Mbr gave 33.2 and 33.7 +_ m.y. ages. Middle member is air-fall tuff dated at 42.8 m.y. Eocene and lower member tuffaceous sediment, air-fall tuff, and basalt flows dated 43.9 to 53.6 +_ m.y. Eocene. (Henry and others, 1986)
