Comments	Bassal dark limestone series in Guadalupe and Delaware Mountains, Culberson Co. TX. limestone, dolomite, sandstone, and shale. Mostly limestone, in part cherty, thin bedded, dk gray to black, marine megafossils scarse; some beds of siliceous shale and shaly limest.; a few thin beds of platy, fine-grained, calcareous, quartz sandst. Thickness 900-1,700 ft Near north end of Sierra Diablo and in Baylor mtns mostly limest. and dolomite, thick bedded massive, gray, abdt marine megafossils and fusulinids.
