Gravity anomaly grids for the conterminous US

Measurements of the gravitational field vary slightly from place to place due to the composition and structure of Earth's crust. These digital grids describe the complete Bouguer and isostatic residual gravity anomalies for the conterminous US.

Isostatic anomaly
Gravity anomaly corrected for the effects of low-density rocks underlying mountains.
Bouguer anomaly
Gravity anomaly corrected to remove the effects of topography using knowledge of the terrain in the area surrounding the measurement station.
