Location and accuracy Float sampled from Potter Creek, 0.75 miles upstream from the intersection of Potter Creek and the Seward Highway. Accurate within 0.5 mile. Locality 114 of Cobb (1972).

Geologic setting

Geologic description

The bedrock in the vicinity is covered by Quaternary surficial deposits. Float consists of graywacke, sandstone, argillite, and greenstone. Concentrates include magnetite, zircon, molybdenite, and pyrite (Jasper, 1967).
