Geologic descriptionThe country rocks at this prospect are the Lower Mississippian to Middle Devonian Totatlanika Schist, composed predominantly of mafic and felsic metavolcanic and metavolcaniclastic rocks (Wilson and others, 1998). The deposit consists of massive-sulfide lenses in schist. The lenses are chiefly galena and sphalerite, accompanied by quartz and sericite. The footwall schist is altered to chlorite and sericite. |
