Location and accuracy This occurrence is at an elevation of about 4,000 feet, on an isolated knob at the north end of the ridge on the west side of Sunny Gulch, a tributary of Timberline Creek. The map site is in the SW1/4 of sec. 17. T. 21 S., R. 2 E., of the Fairbanks Meridian. The site is marked on Plate I of Smith (1981). The location is accurate to within 500 feet.
