Location and accuracy Cobb (1972, MF-413), loc. 30; SW1/4NE1/4 sec. 2, T. 2 N., R. 1 E., of the Fairbanks Meridian. The prospect is about 0.5 miles northwest of the confluence of Twin Creek and Skoogy Gulch, along the western slope of Skoogy Gulch. Accuracy is within 2,000 feet.

Geologic description

The S.S. prospect is assumed to be on an auriferous quartz vein. Prindle (1910) reported it as a gold prospect in schist close to intrusive rocks.
