Location and accuracy This site, at the head of Delarof Harbor on southeastern Unga Island, represents beach sands at the mouth of the creek draining the Apollo mine area (MacKevett and Holloway, 1977, locality 14; Wilson and others, 1988, locality 14). The location is accurate to within 1,200 feet.
