|Location and accuracy||This occurrence is on the small island at the northwest end of the Bushy Islands; it is near the center of section 16, T. 48 S., R. 74 E.|
Geologic descriptionCopper staining and minor chalcopyrite are in quartz stringers that follow the foliation of Cretaceous phyllite (Brew and Grybeck, 1984; Kimble and others, 1984). A 5.2-foot chip sample across the mineralization contained 700 ppm copper, 1,600 ppm zinc, and 0.015 ounce of silver per ton.
