|Location and accuracy||This prospect is about 0.3 mile southwest of the Barometer Mine (SM024). It is at an approximate elevation of 700 feet in the NE1/4 sec. 1, T. 19 N., R. 45 W., of the Seward Meridian. The occurrence is locality 18 of Miller and others (1989). The location is approximate.|
Geologic descriptionAccording to Cady and others (1955) and Sainsbury and MacKevett (1965), cinnabar and stibnite mineralization occurs in sandstone and shale of the Upper Cretaceous, Kuskokwim Group. No other information is available.
