Location and accuracy Shady Ridge prospect is a group of about 40 claims located in T. 15 N., R. 23 E., of the Copper River Meridian. The size of the claim is uncertain, and the location is accurate to within 5 square miles.

Geologic description

Shady Ridge prospect is a group of 40 claims staked in the late 1970s. They are likely a porphyry Cu-Mo prospect (David Hedderly-Smith, oral communication, 1998). The regional geology is mapped as Mesozoic hornblende granodiorite (Foster, 1970).
