|Location and accuracy||This occurrence is at an elevation of about 2,350 feet; it is 1/2 mile south of the Talkeetna River, and 2.6 miles south of the south end of lake 2710,in the NE1/4NE1/4 sec. 21, T. 28 N., R. 3 E., Seward Meridian. The location is accurate.|
Geologic descriptionThis occurrence consists of altered Paleozoic(?) greenstone. No sulfide minerals are visible (Csejtey and Miller, 1978). Samples of the altered greenstone contain 1,000 parts per million copper, 300 parts per million zinc, and 100 parts per million nickel (Miller and others, 1978).
