Geologic descriptionThis occurrence consists of quartz veins in silicified Paleozoic argillite, interbedded with fine-grained sandstone (J. Schmidt, written communication, 2001). A U.S. Geological Survey sample contains 159 parts per million copper, 106 parts per million nickel, 0.014 part per million gold, and 0.1 part per million mercury. | |
