Location and accuracy This prospect is at an elevation of about 3,000 feet on a south tributary of the East Fork, Iron Creek. It is in the northwest corner of sec. 6, T. 26 N., R. 3 E., Seward Meridian. The location is accurate to within 1/4 mile radius. This is locality 77 of Csejtey and Miller (1978).

Geologic setting

Geologic description

This prospect consists of small veins or replacement pods of chalcopyrite in altered, mafic metavolcanic rocks (greenstone) of Paleozoic(?) age (Csejtey and Miller, 1978). A sample of greenstone contains 5,000 parts per million copper (Miller and others, 1978).
