Location and accuracy This prospect is at an elevation of about 3,200 feet on the east side of a tributary to upper Iron Creek. It is in the NW1/4SW1/4 sec. 6, T. 25 N., R. 3 E., Seward Meridian. The location is accurate to within a 1/4 mile. This is locality 68 of Csejtey and Miller (1978).

Geologic description

Copper minerals, mainly malachite, occur in iron-stained brecciated granitic rocks of Jurassic age. Claim staking and diamond drilling in the 1970s (MacKevett and Holloway, 1977).
