Location and accuracy | This occurrence is on Crevice Creek, about 3.5 miles above its mouth. It is about 0.6 mile northwest of the center of section 7, T. 29 N., R. 20 W., of the Fairbanks Meridian, at an elevation of about 1,200 feet. The location is accurate. |
Geologic descriptionThis occurrence is described by Brosge and Reiser (1960) as malachite-stained, vein quartz that contains galena and unspecified copper sulfides. The occurrence is in Devonian(?) Skajit Limestone, about 0.5 mile from a small mafic, igneous body. | |
