New gravity and magnetic compilations and elevation-bathymetry models compiled for the Lake Superior region, providing continuous sets of observations for geologic interpretations spanning political boundaries such as US States and the US-Canada border where bedrock geology is largely concealed beneath glacial deposits and surface water. Data are provide in GeoTiff, GXF, and CSV (for gravity station data) formats.

Site-by-site information on 876 natural occurrences of asbestos reported within the conterminous US. Includes location, mineralogy, geology, and relevant literature for each asbestos site. Data are provided in Microsoft Excel, shapefile, and CSV formats.

Digital flight line data for a high-resolution magnetic survey with line spacing 150 meters and nominal terrain clearance 80 meters over most of the study area. Data are provided as Geosoft databases and grids. Data over two small areas (less than 1 sq km combined) were redacted because those areas include multiple tracts of Native American lands.

Rock outcrop locations taken from geologic maps published from the 1940s until the late 1990s. Bedrock exposure locations were routinely recorded to provide both an indication of where direct observations were made, and as a guide for future investigations to expedite location of observable rock exposures.
