Spatial data associated with tungsten skarn resource assessment of the Northern Rocky Mountains, Montana and Idaho

Resource assessment and supporting data including permissive tracts, mineral sites in the study area, geologic units, geologic maps, stream sediment geochemistry, whole rock chemistry, airborne radiometric data, and lower frequency content EMAG2 data. Data are provided in Esri file geodatabase, shapefile, and CSV formats.

Geochemical Data Release for Gospel-Hump Wilderness Area, Magruder Corridor and Special Mining Management Zone Additions to the Frank Church River of No Return Wilderness Area, and adjacent areas Idaho and Montana

Geochemical analyses of samples from stream sediments, magnetic heavy-mineral concentrates, nonmagnetic heavy-mineral concentrates, slightly magnetic to nonmagnetic heavy-mineral concentrates, and rocks. All were analyzed by semi-quantitative 6-step emission spectrography. Some of the stream sediment samples were also analyzed by flame-atomic absorption spectrophotometry. Data are provided in Microsoft Access format and as tab-delimited text.

Geochemical Data Release for Idaho Primitive Area, including the contiguous Clear Creek-Upper Big Deer Creek Area, the Salmon River Breaks Primitive Area, the Sawtooth Primitive Area, and adjacent areas, central Idaho

Previously unpublished geochemical data from 1966-1984 projects to describe the geology, determine petrologic and geochemical characteristics and to evaluate the mineral resource potential of the primitive areas and of adjacent study areas. Data are provided in Microsoft Access, shapefile, and CSV formats.
