Part of the metasedimentary host rocks of the North River Igneous Suite. Rocks of the Early to Late Taconic Accreted Terrane of the Rowe-Hawley Zone. Eastern allochthonous sequence, oceanic and accretionary realm, ultramafic inclusions, volcanic-arc intrusives, and volcanic rocks.
