Comments Elvins Group- (including Derby-Doerun Dolomite- (200 ft. max) dolomite with alternating siltstone and shale; Davis FM- (225 ft. max) glauconitic shale with sandstone, limestone and dolomite); Bonnetterre Dolomite- (200 ft. max) dolomite and dolomitic limestone, limestone; glauconitic in lower part, (including Whetstone Creek member- ( 35 ft. max) gray dolomite with shale partings; Sullivan Siltstone- (20 ft. max) siltstone with minor conglomerate. In Southeastern MO- The Bonneterre FM is host to Mississippi Valley type Pb-Zn deposits and Cu, Ni, and Co deposits, at its contact around dome of Precabrian rock in the St. Francois Mtns. The main commodty is lead from galena, sphalerite ore.
