This collection of brief mineral resource reports of many mineral commodities was intended as foundational information for a global mineral resource assessment by the USGS. The assessment that was undertaken was restricted in scope to copper deposits, in particular porphyry copper and sediment-hosted copper; data from that assessment is provided at Global assessment of undiscovered copper resources.
