Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Limited information suggests that this deposit consists of one or more quartz-antimony veins near the contact between the Keevy Peak Formation to the north and Birch Creek Schist to the south (Wilson and others, 1998). The veins may be related to Upper Cretaceous and Lower Tertiary intrusive rocks that cut the metasedimentary rocks nearby.
  • Age = Late Cretaceous or younger, assuming that the deposit is related to the intrusive rocks.
