  • TWO ADITS WITH TOTAL OF 900 FT. OF UNDERGROUND WORKINGS. MAIN ADIT 800 FT. DEEP. PORTAL OF UPPER ADIT CAVED, LOWER ADIT ICED SHUT. SEVERAL SURFACE PITS AND TRENCHES NOW SLUMPED IN. MAIN ADIT WENT THROUGH ORE VEIN, ALTHOUGH KONECHNEY DID NOT REALIZE IT AND KEPT DIGGING.

  • CLAIMS STAKED BY JOE KONECHNEY IN 1920, WHO PROCEDED TO EXCAVATE SINGLE HANDEDLY, BY HAND, 900 FT. OF UNDERGROUND WORKINGS (BELIEVE IT OR NOT!) AS WELL AS PITS AND TRENCHES. ADIT PARTIALLY FLOODED IN 1943. NO PRODUCTION.
