Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Outcrops of sandstone and siltstone of the Kanayut Conglomerate are cut by sulfide-bearing anastomosing quartz veins that trend north-south and are exposed for 60 meters along strike. Chalcopyrite was the only sulfide identified, and it occurs with associated malachite and azurite stain.
