Comments on the geologic information

  • MINOR FAULTING; PYTT + PNLD + CLCP. FOR COMPOSITE DESCRIPTION OF PLATINUM GROUP MINERALS IN INCO MINES AT SUDBURY, SEE CREIGHTON. AT FROOD MINE, PLATINUM GROUP MINERALS AND NICKEL ARSENIDES ARE UNUSUALLY ABUNDANT TOWARD THE BOTTOM OF THE OREBODY.; THE FROOD-STOBIE OFFSET IS A DOWNWARD WEDGING BODY OF QUARTZ DIORITE. IT IS CONTINUOUSLY MINERALIZED WITH DISSEMINATED SULPHIDES, INCREASINGLY ABUNDANT DOWNWARD; AND TOWARDS ITS LOWER END, IS SHEATHED IN INCLUSION-BEARING MASSIVE SULPHIDES.
