Deposit | FIRST CLAIM HERE WAS RECORDED IN 1869. THIS WAS AMONG THE CLAIMS ACQUIRED BY THE FRENCH CO. IN THE EARLY 1880'S IN THE GALENA AREA. PRODUCTION FROM CLAIMS AS A WHOLE WAS GOOD FROM EARLY 1880'S TO 1885, BUT NO INDIVIDUAL FIGURES ARE RECORDED. WORKINGS CONSISTED OF AN 800-FT. DRIFT TO A RAISE, FOLLOWING THE S. EXTENSION OF THE WHITE AND SHILOH VEIN, WHICH IS APPARENTLY BARREN HERE. PRODUCTION, IF ANY, WAS NO DOUBT VERY SMALL ; INFO.SRC : 1 PUB LIT |
