Deposit | AN ENGLISH-OWNED COMPANY BEGAN MINING AT THE PITTSBURG AND BUILT A MILL IN THE CANYON BELOW THE MINE, CONNECTED TO IT BY A TRAMWAY. THE MILL OPERATED FROM 1887 TO 18919 IN 1904, THE PITTSBURG AND MORNING STAR MINES WERE CONSOLIDATED. MINES ARE DEVELOPED BY ABOUT 3 MILES OF INTERCONNECTED WORKINGS ON ( LEVELS, SPANNING 550 VERTICAL FEET IN THE PITTSBURG AND 925 VERT FEET IN THE MORNINGSTAR. |
