  • TURQUOISE OCCURS IN THINLY BEDDED, SILICIFIED AND FE-STAINED SHALE THAT STRIKES N70 E AND DIPS 20 NW. THE SHALE IS OVERLAIN BY QUARTZITE. A FAULT WHICH EXPOSES SHALE BELOW THE QUARTZITE CONTAINS TURQUOISE CEMENTING THE NARROW BRECCIA ZONE.
