IS AN OPEN CUT 6'X18'X7' DEEP, INNER END, TEN TONS OF SMITHSONITE BEARING ORE ON DUMPS. OPENING 3 IS AN OPEN CUT & TUNNEL 300' NE OF #2; RUNNING S. 30 DEGREE E INTO HILL FOR 60 FEET, 4-5 TONS ORE ROCK ON DUMP, MOSTLY SPHALERITE. OPENING 4 IS CUT 4X10', 5' DEEP; SOME SPHALERITE IN CAVITIES. OPENING 5 IS OPEN CUT 60 DEGREES W INTO HILL, 6X40' DEEP AT INNER END, NO ORE VISIBLE. A 20' SHAFT IN CHERTY LIMESTONE LIES 75'S. 40 DEGREES W FROM LAST CUT, SAID TO HAVE PRODUCED SMALL AMOUNT OF SPHALERITE.
