  • 60 FOOT DRIFT INTO HILLSIDE. ROCK IN THIS DRIFT CONTAINS LITTLE POCKETS OR CAVITIES, SOME LINED WITH AND SOME FILLED WITH GALENA. OTHERS APPEAR TO HAVE CONTAINED CRYSTALS OF GALENA. SEVERAL OPEN CUTS YIELDED GALENA, A LITTLE SPHALERITE AND SMITHSONITE

  • IN 1802 THERE WAS A CRUSHING PLANT, JIGS, 30 HP BOILER ENGINE, ORE BINS, AND OTHER BUILDINGS AT THE MINE.
