Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = Well-developed, vertically oriented reticulated quartz vein system cutting mildly altered volcanic flows, rubble, breccia, and tuffaceous breccia. Zone extends more than 1 km across strike, veins are concentrated at northern end of zone. Sulfides are generally not apparent, though some areas have structures (vugs) indicating the removal of pyrite by weathering.
