THICK, STRIKES E TO S 70 E AND DIPS ABOUT 65 SW, AND CARRIES GOLD, SCHEELITE, AND STIBNITE; IN FAULTED ZONE GOLD QUARTZ REPLACED BY EARTHY WAD AND OXIDIZED SILVER-LEAD ORE. HORSES ARE PRESENT IN SEVERAL PLACES. STIBNITE PRESENT IN SOME PARTS OF VEIN; GOLD CONTENT GREATER WHERE STIBNITE IS PRESENT. SECOND GENERATION GOLD QUARTZ CUTS BULL QUARTZ. IN ADJACENT BLACK JOE LODE A GOLD-TUNGSTEN VEIN CUTS QUARTZITE SCHIST; VEIN STRIKES N 20 W, DIPS 18 SW, AND CUTS THE CLEAVAGE OF SCHIST THAT STRIKES N 80 W AND DIPS ABOUT 80 S. GOLD AND SCHEELITE OCCUR IN DIFFERENT PARTS OF THE VEIN.
