Deposit NEW ZINC PRESSURE OXIDATION PLANT STARTED FALL SEASON OF 1994, AND REACHED A 95000TPY CAPACITY IN LESS THAN ONE MONTH. THE NEW PLANT UTILIZES SHERRITT ZINC PRESSURE LEACH TECHNOLOGY. NEW PLANT WILL REDUCE SO2 EMMISSIONS BY 25%, AND WILL REDUCE AIRBORNE PARTICULATES BY SOME 50% AT THE METALLURGICAL COMPLEX.
