  • Q-MAT-1 = TONNAGE BEFORE NEW SHAFT. Q-MAT-2 = TONNAGE AFTER NEW SHAFT IS BUILT. RESOURCES ARE FROM UPPER WITWATERSRAND, KIMBERLY REEF. U303 VALUE IS NOT ECONOMIC AT THE PRESENT, BUT OSMIRIDIUM IS SIGNIFICANT. PGM PERCENTAGE COMPRISE OF 34.5% OSMIUM, 32.5% IRIDIUM, 13.5% RUTHENIUM, 10.5% PLATINUM AND 1% RHODIUM.
  • 1989 AU PROD.= 372,016 OZ FROM TREATING 2,046,000 MT ORE. WAS UPDATED FOR THE 1992 AU AVAILABILITY STUDY. 1991 PROD.= 365,361 OZ AU FROM TREATING 1,913,000 TNS ORE.
