General comments

Subject category Comment text
Deposit THE PROPERTY EVALUATION IS BASED ON MAXIMUM METALLURGICAL ALUMINUM PRODUCTION POTENTIAL. PROPERTY REVIEWED BY RC SMITH, 4-87. I TALKED TO THE PLANT MANAGER AND HE SAID THE MINE WAS SHUTDOWN IN 1984. THE MINED LAND IS BEING RECLAIMED. THE HURRICANE CREEK ALUMINA PLANT IS BEING DISMANTLED. THE 2 REDUCTION PLANTS ARE SHUTDOWN. THE MINE IS CONSIDERED TO BE PERMANENTLY SHUTDOWN. OREBODY DIMENSIONS ARE EXTREMELY VARIABLE. THE OREBODIES ARE LENTICULAR AND RANGE IN SIZE FROM 1 ACRE TO SEVERAL HUNDRED ACRES. THICKNESS IS ALSO VARIABLE.
