|Current site name||Cascade Creek|
|Geographic coordinates:||-161.24271, 59.32927 (WGS84)|
|Relative position||Cascade Creek is a north tributary to Wattamuse Creek (GO021), a west tributary to Slate Creek (GO020). The mouth of Cascade Creek is about 1 mile upstream of the confluence of Wattamuse and Slate Creeks and just upstream of the old mining camp on Wattamuse Creek. It is included in Hoare and Cobb (1977) under the name 'Cascade Ck.'. Fechner (1988) included the lower part of Wattamuse Creek as a part of Cascade Creek, but early descriptions indicate that Wattamuse Creek is the stream that continues to Slate Creek and that Cascade Creek is a tributary to Wattamuse Creek.|
