Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = This occurrence consists of scattered gossan in variably graphitic quartz schist adjacent to a greenstone(?) dike (Flanigan, 1998). Seven rock samples contained up to 191 ppm copper, 373 ppm zinc, 1.1 ppm silver, and 62 ppm molybdenum. Flanigan (1998) suggests that this occurrence is probably related to the Round Top (NL011) quartz monzonite intrusive complex, for which K-Ar and Ar/Ar dates indicate cooling at approximately 75 Ma.
