  • Geologic Description = The country rocks at this site are sedimentary strata of the Lower Cretaceous Shumagin Formation (Wilson and others, 1995). The sedimentary rocks are intruded by a pyritized granodiorite sill. Anomalous values in arsenic, copper, and zinc have been reported both in sedimentary rock and in the intrusive (Wilson and others, 1988).
