Comments on the geologic information

  • Geologic Description = This occurrence consists of a grab sample of thin, locally copper-stained, quartz veins that cut orange-weathering marble of the Devonian-Siluran Skagit Limestone (Nelson and Grybeck, 1980; Grybeck and Nelson, 1981). Selected samples contain up to 70 ppm Ag, 1 percent Cu, 1 percent Sb, and 2000 ppm Zn. The veins apparently are of only local extent.
