Reference information

Comments El Pilar was explored as a porphyry copper target in 1992. Exploration to date has not confirmed a porphyry copper deposit, but has confirmed a copper oxide deposit hosted in Tertiary conglomerate with inferred resources of 180 million tonnes of 0.365% Cu (Wood, 2006). Noranda Exploration.
