Reference information

Comments Overlay of Ordovician volcano-sedimentary units proximal to Silurian volcano-sedimentary units. Occurs within Carboniferous volcanic rock in the Keramay arc area (see Tang, Wang, Wyman and others, 2010, fig. 1). Proximal to Late Carboniferous adakitic and high-Mg diorite–granodiorite porphyry plutons (A-type) and dikes known for Cu–Au mineralization in the Baogutu area of the western Junggar region (see Tang, Wang, Wyman and others, 2010, fig. 1). Because of spatial association with Ordovician volcano-sedimentary rocks,might be Ordovician in age.
